“THE CRAFT OF TACTILE METALS OF THE HOME”
Through experimenting I created different textures and patinas, all applied by hand, and therefore never the same. These textures make the objects very tactile and pleasant to touch.
The used metals develop a nice patina over time, or when patinas are applied, they should be considered as a starting point of which the patina keeps evolving.

“Since I started making objects out of brass, I was fascinated by the beauty originating from working by hand. The ability to keep some lines or edges really crisp while others can be softened just enough make it possible to create something different than with machines or through band work. Together with some small imperfections from the handwork this creates the beauty of craftsmanship.”
